At Little Roots Pediatric Therapy, we believe every child deserves a strong foundation — one rooted in compassion, guided by play, and strengthened through evidence-based care that helps them grow the confidence and skills they need to thrive in everyday life. Our therapy is child-centred, family-centred, and individualized, allowing each child to explore, grow in independence, and discover what they’re capable of in a safe, supportive environment. Guided by play and connection, we follow the child’s lead — celebrating their interests, encouraging curiosity, and supporting meaningful progress every step of the way.

We know therapy doesn’t stop at the clinic door. That’s why we offer flexible home-based visits, virtual therapy and group therapy programs for children to make quality care more accessible and community-driven across Halifax and Dartmouth. Group settings open doors to peer connection, shared learning, and incredible benefits that individual care can’t always offer, while home visits support both busy families and those whose goals are best achieved within their everyday environments and routines.

Our team includes licensed and caring professionals across pediatric specialties — including Pediatric Occupational Therapy and, soon, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Chiropractic care, and Acupuncture — ensuring that every service is delivered by qualified clinicians who share the same commitment to professional excellence and the vision here at Little Roots Pediatric Therapy.

At our core, Little Roots exists to make a meaningful difference for families. Waitlists are long, systems are stretched, and group therapy isn’t being utilized to its full potential — but we’re here to fill that gap. Our vision is to nurture every child’s growth, empower families, and create a community where every child feels supported to reach their potential and grow into their brightest self — and it starts with strong roots.
